0.03 millimetre standard deviations
Their is a difference between Accuracy, Precision, deviation and resolution. The deviation is nothing to do between the two scans made with the equipment. The deviation is considered between actual CAD model and the scan.

I experimented a lot with different software solutions and I have to admit that the recent developments are really impressive. Still, if you need a crisp and precise scan DAVID is the reliable choice.

But there are real advantages. One of them is that most photogrammetry softwares handle contrast differences much better then laser or SL-scanning can do without coating.

The disadvantage of the free StereoScan is that there is no calibration and hence no relation of sizes. Means it's not guaranteed that two or more scans can be fused to one object since there is nor reliable scaling included. But that's why it is free I guess. Otherwise it would be an extremely good tool.

I built up a special hardware, only two photographs prepare . Agisoft stereo it gratis downloadable . Try to use it .

I tried it David and Sztereoscan software onto common work to endure . I put it on into three positions stereo recording party . I melded two then three .
