Update request for manipulating scan data

Hi all,

I am a new user of the David starter kit.
Using Shape Fusion for aligning scans which are made around rotation axis Y can be aligned quite easily,
but aligning the top and bottom scans to the main scans is quite difficult if you have flat large areas.
In that case Free rotation does not work fine and the scans got lined up wrong.
After rotating and manipulating the top and bottom scans separately (with CTRL and left or right mouse button) to about the correct angle and position
they are still very difficult to line up correctly.

Maybe it would be made easier if we can rotate and translate the different scans using exact coordinates and
angles but this is not possible in Shape Fusion (or i still haven't found it?). Can something be made available in a future version?

Below an example about a dificult to line up bottom scan.
Automatic registration didn't not work at all so a had to position the bottom scan to the main scans by hand.
Finally i gave up and did not use the bottom scan.

Hi,

think it should be rather simple to align that automatically, if you do another scan that "sees" the bottom and some side aspect simultaneously by tilting the object about 45°.

Thank you for your help, next test will be another scan of the bottom part at about 45 degrees so it scans also a part of the side.
Manipulating a single scan is rather difficult and maybe could be made simpler by making it possible to rotate or translate it by a given value.
