Brilliant work Walter! That really gives the atomium a realism. I can almost reach out and touch it
Now how about a turntable movie? Maybe of your Opel? In the other post I forgot to mention that for movies I use this:
http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stvmkr/It basically works the same way but instead of a single stereo images you make 2 stereo avi movies and import them into this software. You can preview the video live while you adjust the effect and then export an anaglyph AVI movie.
Here is my workflow:
1. Animate a 360 turn of the object in 3D program and render out two avi movies made from the left and right virtual cameras. Note: In maya you can have many cameras but if your program can only hae one you can simply render out the first movie then move the same camera just a bit over and render out the second movie.
2. Import the Left and Right AVI movies into the stereo movie maker software adjust setting for the 3d effect and export the anaglyph AVI.
3. I used Virtualdub to export the anaglyph movie to numbered single frames.
4. I import the numbered single frames into adobe imageready to be assembled into a SWF.
I think Gunter discovered a program to make an SWF (flash movie) from an AVI but I fogot what it was. If you use this you can skip steps 3 and 4.
Keep making anaglyphs!
Thanks,
Greg
