If you own an original DAVID USB key, you can update it very easily:
Plug your DAVID USB key into your PC.
Download the latest DAVID version (setup installer, not zip) from
here.
Launch the installer, and choose “Update USB flash drive”
Click “Next” repeatedly. The installer will find the USB key and update it automatically.
That's it. Start DAVID from your Flash Drive as usual.
If you experience any problems, please contact your dealer.
Alternative method, slightly more complicated:
On your DAVID USB Flash Drive, you will find a folder “DAVID”. It contains all necessary files. If you want, you can make a backup copy of this folder, e.g. on your hard disk.
Download the latest DAVID version (.zip file) from
here.
Extract all files from the .zip file to the “DAVID” folder on your Flash Drive. This will overwrite most of the old files. Some old files (e.g. license.dat) will not be overwritten; they must persist where they are!
That's it. Start DAVID from your Flash Drive as usual.
